Important notice to our supporters and donors

Dear friends of Kalon Afrika,
We would like to inform you of an important development regarding donations made in 2026 via our partner organisation, Kontinenten.
Kontinenten has informed us that its authorisation to issue tax certificates for the year 2026 has not been renewed. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to issue tax certificates for donations received via Kontinenten in 2026.
As a result of this decision, Kontinenten has announced that donations already received will be refunded to the donors concerned. Once this process has been completed, donors may decide for themselves whether they wish to transfer their donation directly to Kalon Afrika or via another organisation that can provide tax certificates.
We understand that this news may be disappointing. However, we would like to emphasise that this decision does not affect the operation, integrity or impact of Kalon Afrika’s projects. Our commitment to the communities we support remains as strong as ever.
Together with our partners, we are currently exploring possible solutions for the future, so that our supporters can continue to contribute to our work in a simple and transparent manner in the years to come.

Please note that direct donations to Kalon Afrika are not currently tax-deductible.
