We were honored on Wednesday 18/12/2024 to be a part of the Telenet Wintermarkt at their headquarters in Mechelen.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our story with the kind people who visited the venue and to sell some items to support our ongoing projects.

Venue and parking!

Our venue De Drie Sleutels, Driesleutelstraat 11 9700 Oudenaarde for our Kalon Afrika Charity Concert 14.09.2024 17u is a children friendly one, well gazetted with active games for both kids and adults to spend quality time.

So feel free to bring the family to enjoy the evening with us.

The venue has a limited parking of up to 10cars but incase the space is occupied, there is a free parking near the church which is a few meters walk to the venue.

De samen komst van de twee brilliant koren, Tabita en Ska-Volk, gaat morgen zorgen voor een uitstekende sfeer vol liefde en vreugde aan Kalon Afrika Charity Concert 14.09.2024 17u .

Maar wat weten we over de twee koren?
Hieronder iets kort over Tabita en Ska-Volk-koren.

SKA VOLK, de SKAnjbeekske VOLKszangers, is een groep van uitgezwermde jeugdvrienden (m/v) met wortels in Schendelbeke én in het Kaktuskoor...
Ska Volk vindt het als vriendengroep enorm plezant om “samen te zingen” en om het plezier van het samenzingen te kunnen en mogen delen met andere groepen en verenigingen...
Ska Volk is daarom in de eerste plaats een “mee-zing-groep” met als doel zoveel mogelijk mensen te laten mee zingen… want samen zingen zorgt voor verbinding, én... “samen zingen... da’s de max!”

Tabita, een bruisend koor dat zijn oorsprong vindt in Mater, opgericht in 1996 door de plaatselijke pastorale werkgroep. Wat begon als een vrouwenkoor, groeide uit tot een vierstemmig gezelschap dat zowel mannen als vrouwen uit Oudenaarde en omstreken verwelkomt. Vandaag telt Tabita 27 leden en brengt het een gevarieerd repertoire, waaronder Taizéliederen, hymnes, gospels en meer, tijdens kerkdiensten, uitvaarten en concerten. Onder de leiding van de voorzitster Annie De Schepper en dirigent Johan Browaeys met begeleiding van pianiste Anne Verschoore repeteert het koor wekelijks op maandagavond om hun muziek tot leven te brengen.
